Declaration by the Presidency of the Council of the European Union on the bombings in Bangalore and Ahmedabad

The Presidency of the Council of the European Union was deeply shocked to learn of the terrorist attacks in Bangalore and Ahmedabad on 25 and 26 July.
It offers its heartfelt sympathy to the government and people of India and to the victims and their families.
It condemns in the strongest possible terms these unacceptable attacks and expresses its solidarity with India.
The Presidency of the Council of the European Union reaffirms its determination to stand alongside the Indian government in the fight against the scourge of terrorism.
