Meeting of representatives of European citizens residing outside their country of origin

The Assembly of French Nationals Living Abroad (AFE) is to hold the first meeting of representatives of European citizens residing outside their country of origin on Tuesday, 30 September 2008 at the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
The meeting, convened by the AFE European affairs committee, aims to debate and support practical proposals that simplify and facilitate the mobility of all European citizens.
Two topics will be addressed:
1. "Better experiencing European justice and administration"
2. "Better protection for European citizens"
A common resolution addressed to the European Council, the European Commission and EU Member States will be discussed and adopted.
