Declaration by the Presidency on behalf of the European Union concerning the referendum on constitutional reform in Ecuador

The European Union takes note of the willingness clearly expressed by the Ecuadorian people on the occasion of the referendum of 28 September to approve the draft constitution proposed to them.
The European Union calls on all actors to work towards strengthening national unity and the economic and social development of the country.
