The purpose of the European Job Fair is to encourage the mobility of European citizens.

On Saturday, 4 October 2008, at the Centre des Congrès de la Villette in Paris, several thousand mobility applicants and a hundred or so employers and operators of professional mobility in Europe will gather at the European Job Fair.
In order to meet the expectations of different groups of people, the fair will be organised around three villages set up throughout the day.
At the "Information Village", specialists in European mobility and a number of European EURES advisers will be available to give advice to visitors. The "Recruitment Village" will give visitors the chance to meet some fifty recruiters. Lastly, the "Workshop Village" will host eight interactive sessions on destination countries to illustrate mobility in action.
In addition, a round table led by legal experts will give human resource managers from a hundred or so companies the opportunity to discuss expatriation and impatriation contracts, social protection and taxation issues with regard to mobility.
Lastly, a conference-debate on "Europe of Tomorrow, Jobs of Tomorrow" will bring together 400 employment professionals to discuss the European job market of tomorrow.
