Summit on the international financial crisis

A summit bringing together the Heads of State and Government of Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and France, as well as the Prime Minister of Luxembourg and President of the Eurogroup, the President of the European Commission and the President of the European Central Bank, will be held at the Elysée Palace in Paris on the afternoon of 4 October.
The summit’s purpose is to prepare the G8 European members’ contribution to the forum’s forthcoming meetings on the international financial crisis.
