Statement by the Presidency of the Council of the European Union on the situation regarding the Temple of Preah Vihear

The presidency of the Council of the European Union is deeply concerned about the growing tensions between Cambodia and Thailand with regard to their border dispute.
The presidency calls for a peaceful solution to this dispute and requests that both parties engage in dialogue and refrain from all acts of violence.
