The French Presidency of the Council of the European Union is holding a meeting of the directors-general in charge of vocational education and training from the EU Member States on 21 and 22 October next in Pontpoint (Académie d'Amiens).
On 21 and 22 October next, the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union is holding a meeting of the directors-general in charge of vocational education and training from the EU Member States. This meeting, held in the presence of senior government officials, will bring together 100 European experts in charge of vocational education and training.
The meeting is divided into three sections:
-A presentation of national experiences on the following topics: establishing a European Framework for Key Competences; how to develop links between employment and training and between schools and companies.
-A presentation by the European Commission of the Community texts and instruments currently being developed.
-A presentation of the state of progress of the Bordeaux Communiqué on enhanced European cooperation with regard to vocational education and training.
