Declaration by the Presidency on behalf of the European Union concerning the Conference "Common World: Progress through Diversity" in Kazakhstan

The European Union notes the declaration adopted at the end of the meeting held, at the Kazakh authorities' instigation, on 17 October 2008. However, the European Union wishes to make clear that it was not given any opportunity to agree to that declaration and underlines that it does not consider itself committed by the declaration's wording.
