The aim of the European forum of essays on art is to promote the principal function of essays on art: to enable contemporaries to keep abreast of the latest developments in art research from a range of different points of view (philosophy, sociology, criticism, etc.).
The four-day programme of the European Forum of Essays on Art, which will be held between Thursday 20 and Sunday 23 November, will feature a European publishers forum, a European ideas competition, a seminar, conferences, meetings and debates chaired by authors from 27 European countries: artists, critics, curators, philosophers, sociologists, economists, or lawyers.
This forum of essays on art is targeted at everyone interested by different forms of artistic expression, (visual arts, architecture, images, music, dance, theatre) and other art-related disciplines (philosophy, criticism, politics, law, economics, history, anthropology and sociology).
This forum also aims to provide a major opportunity for book and art professionals - authors and publishers, artists and curators, students and researchers - to meet and share ideas.
