Launch of websites providing information on the European Union: Les Euronautes and Place d'Europe
- On: 21.11.2008
Two new websites for information and debate on Europe have been launched: www.leseuronautes.eu (aimed at young people) and www.placedeurope.eu (for local elected officials and local authorities).
Touteleurope.fr was charged with realising the two new sites, launched by the French government and the European Commission, in association with the European Parliament.
- "Les Euronautes" (www.leseuronautes.eu) offers young people aged between 15 to 25 years practical information for choosing a mobility assistance programme, finding an internship or a job in another EU country, and preparing a trip or a European project. A ‘club’ area will allow young people to ask questions and share their European experiences.
- "Place d’Europe" (www.placedeurope.eu) is the first information platform specially designed for and by local elected officials and local authorities, allowing them to get together on line to exchange best practices and publicise their own European initiatives.
