The French Presidency of the Council takes stock of its work before the European Parliamentary Committees

During December 2008, the French ministers will take stock of the French Presidency of the Council before the Parliamentary Committees of the European Parliament in Brussels.

It is customary during the last month of each six-month presidency, for the ministers representing the country holding the Presidency of the Council to come and debate with the MEPs meeting in specialist committees in Brussels, in order to take stock of their work and the Council's achievements over the last six months.
