Telephone conversation between Nicolas Sarkozy and the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Hosni Moubarak, on the situation in Gaza

Nicolas Sarkozy, the current President of the European Council, made a telephone call today to Mr. Hosni Moubarak, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The two leaders reviewed the situation in Gaza and touched on the possible modalities for resolving the crisis, agreeing to stay in contact over the coming days.
The President of the French Republic will receive Mrs. Tzipi Livni at the start of January at the Élysée.
