Fondation d'entreprise Gaz de France

Among the fields in which it works, the Gaz de France "Fondation d’entreprise" fights against isolation and exclusion of young people in difficult districts and in the rural world.
The « Europe Hip-Hop » France-Germany tandem attracted the attention of Fondation d’entreprise Gaz de France because it works along those lines, offering a European dimension.

The fact is that the Foundation supports projects in countries in which Gaz de France is present. For instance, it supported the Blanca Li company for a show at the Institut français de Madrid (French Institute of Madrid) combining hip hop and music–hall. The foundation suggested adding a solidarity aspect to that event, having some young people from disadvantaged areas take part.

Hip hop is practiced in sensitive districts, and makes it possible to favour playing a role in society, in the same way as other sports supported by the foundation.

Within the framework, the foundation is going to mobilise its partner associations to take part in the "battle" that will follow the show. In this way the European cultural Season will enable the foundation to participate in a media event, adding a social dimension. That event will make it possible to highlight the foundation's activities when it comes to "insertion" by way of the associations that are present. Accessibility to culture for all is a priority of the Gaz de France foundation.
