A few indications
The island with its thousand years of history and culture, now offers two contrasting appearances: Tradition and modernity. All cultural domains are represented, with a marked propensity for the plastic arts. Cyprus has a symphonic orchestra and several international-level festivals: The « Kypria » festival (multidisciplinary) in Nicosia, a European dance festival in Limassol, the Festival of Paphos (opera), an ancient theatre festival, as well as several others. There are also ever more private producers organising major concerts, with the greatest singers and operas.

Exhibition/Colloquium
Famagusta
Famagusta, a Cypriot city emptied of its inhabitants in 1974, will be the focus of an artistic search consisting of contemplating that city as a place of sensitive and critical thought, to produce a representation of it. This work will be the object of expositions in Amiens and Nicosia. At the same time a colloquium will be organised at the faculté des arts (School of Arts) in Amiens.
