The European Cultural Season features four kinds of projects.

•  ‘Tandem’ projects are  co-productions between France and each of the Member States involving Europe’s most prestigious artists and cultural institutions.

• Special events aimed mainly at the general public or with a Europe-wide appeal. 

• A series of thematic panoramas organised all over France to highlight Europe’s dynamic creative talents in all artistic fields: cinema, photography, theatre, literature, design, contemporary art and contemporary music).

• finally, cycles of 27 European works: 27 books, 27 films, 27 shows, 27 concerts, 27 exhibitions and 27 history lessons etc.
