For the last ten years she has lived in London where she graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London in 2005 in the field of design communication. Her personal works combine illustration and typography and are expressed through traditional techniques such as screen printing or binding. Joana Niemeyer was also commissioned for the badge exhibition "Stuck on Me" hosted at the Notting Hill Arts Club in London and the Walden Gallery in Berlin. The exhibition brought together famous international designers such as Jonathan Ellery, Experimental Jetset and Spin. In 2005 Joana Niemeyer joined Thomas Manss & Company in London where she works with many clients including Foster + Partners and Alain de Botton. She believes that it is important to share her inspirations and with that in mind recently launched the creative website.
