Traits d'Union:
27 unpublished European and contemporary texts are translated into French and published in a box.

This project is aimed at highlighting the diversity and wealth of European contemporary theatre writing while enabling the public to discover European dramatists recognised in their own country, but still unpublished in France.

Three cycles of readings are scheduled: at the Avignon Festival, the Festival La Mousson d'été and at Odéon - Théâtre de l'Europe.
Each of the selected plays gives rise to a full staging by a director, accompanied by well-known actors.
Over and above readings in France, the cultural network abroad, cultural centres and institutes, are also in line to take up this project.

France Culture is making a radio recording of certain plays.
The Louvre Museum, in connection with its "le petit pan de mur jaune" project, will put in commissions with 3 authors read at the Odéon in connection with the "Traits d'Union" so that they can produce some short texts based on a work in the Museum.
