Highlights: presentation of cultural projects, meetings with French senior schools, participation in a concert (at cabaret Sauvage) and in the "Nuit Blanche" (Sleepless Night)

As part of the "France North Rhine-Westphalia 2008/2009" season, the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia is inviting about 2,000 students from schools and vocational colleges to visit Paris from 3rd to 5th October 2008 to enjoy a unique cultural experience together.

These students studying French in the secondary cycle in Germany arrive in Paris on 3rd October 2008, the day of German unity (a national holiday), for the opening of the North Rhine-Westphalia cultural season in France. They will be accommodated by host families from partner schools of the Academies of Paris, Versailles and Créteil.

The first highlight of this trip is the class presentation of cultural projects prepared in advance in French. Their diversity (theatre, cinema, presentations of the Land's culture, etc.) making these students messengers for the creative energy of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The second highlight is the meeting with French students from partner schools and their participation in a big rock concert, along with the "Nuit Blanche" (Sleepless Night).
