Created under the initative of CulturesFrance as part of the European Cultural Season, the European White Night project - European Cultural Identities, has been created in association with the Rencontres Photographiques d'Arles (Arles Photographic Meetings). Europe Night presents an overview of the new photographic scene of the 27 member states of the European Union: 3 photographs per country, 81 in total have been put forward by 27 experts, one from each member state of the European Union. These photographs will be projected onto open air screens, which anyone can wander around for free, creating a poetic stroll.
