Place de Catalogne in ParisA Sky Event by Otto Piene is taking place in the Place de Catalogne as part of the "European White Night".
The first project by the ZERO foundation of Dusseldorf, "Lighter than air" pays tribute to the beauty of Paris by combining nature with the elements that make up the Sky Art.
On this occasion, Otto Piene uses two of his newest flying sculptures and bases his design concept on a constellation: the star is moving and is confronted with the wind, helium and human strength. The synergy between these elements results in a natural movement, without technical impulse, which for the artist, contributes to the beauty of these flying sculptures.
