This exhibition, prepared by the Nobel Museum of Stockholm, under the aegis of the Nobel Foundation and with Samsung company as a partner, is aimed at describing the life of Alfred Nobel - and particularly the some seventeen years he spent in Paris, from 1873 to 1890.
The exhibition devotes special attention to Alfred Nobel's manufacturing activities (production of dynamite for civil engineering projects).
The exhibition takes the form of a set of 160 panels:
• Nobel's life in Saint-Petersburg, then in Paris and San Remo;
• the networks that he led throughout his career;
• the constant presence of innovation and research in his activities;
• finally, establishment of the prizes bearing his name and still constituting the highest possible award for a physicist, chemist, biologist, economist, writer or peace advocate.
