Free showings in various European cultural centres in Paris: Sweden, Finland,Hungary, Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland
Kyrnea Association is organising the second version of "European Encounters of Young people and Images", to take place for 10 days between 20 November and 7 December 2008 in Paris.
The program includes:
• public screenings (17 days) in the city hall of Paris and in the International City (Estate) of the Arts: professional films, amateur films made by young people, directors/youth/public exchanges
• professional lectures-discussions (3 days) in the amphitheatre(lecture hall) of the MGEN
• workshops for education in images (3 days) in the Center Wallonie Bruxelles: screenings of films by young people, workshops, youth/professional meetings
And also:
• a grouping of more than 150 European partners in the field of image education coming from 15 European countries.
• encounters with 200 European adolescents having taken part in workshops concerning creation or cinematographic practice, and coming from all over Europe
• meetings open to the public (registration required)
• remarks and discussions in English and Spanish or French, with simultaneous translation into French/English/Spanish.
