Lucia Pasqualin was born in Trevise in Italy in 1980. This very young artist graduated in industrial design from the Faculty of Arts and Design at the University of Venice in 2004. She also specialised in visual communication and multimedia in 2007. She produced a thesis on the work of Swiss graphic artist Wolfgang Weingart, considered as the inventor of the new wave in typography, by analysing the development of his work in detail. Lucia Pasqualin has forged her own style of typography basing it on the ideas and methods of this undisputed master. During her studies, she worked with the Cacao Design Communication Studio in Milan and with the Studio Tassinari/Vetta in Trieste, where she now lives and with which she continues to work regularly.
